Partner Engage2Learn - Cultivating Culture in the Context of COVID: 3 Tactics to Save your Teachers...and Yourself
We are facing unprecedented times in public education. In addition to navigating the current pandemic landscape, leaders are being tasked to create and deliver solutions that will both reduce teacher stress and accelerate learning for all students. How can this be done effectively and - maybe more importantly - sustainably? Research shows that teachers have 2 to 3 times the effect on student achievement than any other school factor. With a mass exodus of teachers occurring through early retirement and resignations, increasing teacher support and capacity must be elevated to priority status This session will demonstrate how to provide intentionally designed support and increase teacher capacity and effectiveness, no matter the level of experience, through specific, scalable strategies that will lead to improved outcomes for students and reduce strain on both teachers and leaders by shifting the overall culture.
